One afternoon earlier in the spring I noticed this striking Sun pillar on the western horizon. It was visible for more than 30 minutes. After the Sun had set it turned red and pink (lower right photo).

I was driving home and I saw this light pillar (sun pillar) on the horizon, unfortunately I didn’t bring my camera so I photographed it with my cell phone. It was visible for more than 30 minutes and after the sunset the light turned red and pink.
