The calm sea and warm weather joined forces to create a serene morning at Porto Novo beach. This same beach was the landing place of British brigades during the Battle of Vimeiro. Some places have a long and diverse story to tell, from violent wars to peaceful mornings.
O mar calmo e o tempo quente uniram forças para criar uma manhã serena na Praia de Porto Novo. Esta mesma praia era o local de desembarque das brigadas inglesas durante a Batalha do Vimeiro. Alguns locais têm uma longa e diversa história para contar, desde guerras violentas a manhãs pacíficas.

“Nau dos Corvos” it’s the name of this geological formation on the cliffs of Cabo Carvoeiro. After the sunset the smoke caused by the fires, which devastated Portugal during the summer, gave this picture a warm tone. A long exposure intensifies the dramatism of this scene.
