Handle the old photograph carefully due to their fragility. If the photograph is framed, do not attempt to separate the paper from the glass, as this may severely worsen the damage.
Take a picture of your old photograph
For a first evaluation, taking a simple picture of the photograph with the mobile phone camera will allow me to assess the general condition of it and to elaborate an estimate.
Photograph it in a well-lit place, preferably with natural light, well-focused, make sure it is reflections free and has minimal distortion. Use the maximum resolution of the equipment.
